Today’s equine clients demand a high level of skill, knowledge and care from their vets. In order to meet these requirements Kernow Farm and Equine was formed from the merger of the large animal sectors of Churchend Veterinary Centre, Harleigh Vets and Pelyn Veterinary Group. This provides a considerable pool of equine talent with local knowledge, built over many years and a rapid response time for emergencies.
With our team of vets now free of small animal duties they will have more time to devote to you and your horse. We will be developing existing interests as well as applying the wider range of skills we can draw on from the three merged practices. Our plan is to deliver these improvements with minimal disruption hence, why we have announced these changes whilst continuing to integrate the three practices. It is very much our intention that the transition of the business should be as smooth as possible whilst providing continuity of care to our patients.
Importantly, contact and out of hours/emergency phone numbers are the same but in addition, you now have the mobile numbers of all the team.
We ask that you work with us while we build this improved service for your benefit. If at any point you feel that there is something that would add to the service we can offer, please let us know. This is a new departure for all of us but we are convinced that this is the right way forward. We firmly believe that these changes and commitment to the future makes us not only the biggest but the best independent veterinary practice in Cornwall.
